I am a commercial advertising photographer, my studio is in Chicago. I work with ad agencies, design firms, corporations and magazines. At the recommendation of talent agents from Elite/Stewart Talent, I joined the on line modeling community in an effort to find talent of an alternative nature. It has been an amazing success for me. I have met and worked with a number of talented and wonderful people that have given their heart and soul to my projects. I want to create a large body of fine art images that will allow me to seek gallery representation for my work. I'm interested in developing professional working relationships with models and actors who will collaborate with me on fine art projects. In most cases, I will pay whatever the talent demands for their time, as long as I deem it affordable and the talent is willing to sign a model release. I will provide trade references upon request.

Dear Kevlar Vest Girl,
I was further dismayed to not notice an edit function which means I will have to be more careful when I write here. I noticed lapses in punctuation in my previous message. There is no edit function?

Dear Kevlar Vest Girl,
Here I am now a member of Model Insider and I suddenly get sent lots of "want to be my friends" requests from people I have never met. Is this place shades of Facebook/ And we have a wall here? And what are these contests. I was going to put in some pictures and I was caught trying to understand the difference between an album and something else. Is Model Insider as complicated as it seems? Do you have any suggestions.
I can understand that for a young photographer and or model Model Insider could be used as an "improved" version of a social network. But for this photographer who is worrying where the next job is going to come from as "the best price is free" mentality persists in North American photo markets is this site going to rob me of time better spent in worrying? I have also noticed the proliferation of comments that make Twitter comments look like major essays. Is this a twittered Model Mayhem?

You Turd. You think you can run off and leave me to deal with all the loonies on MM by myself?

Hey I stuck up for you on MM today. Someone posted that you stink, and I responded...."Like Shit he does!"
