cool So much depends on being in the right place at the right time...with your camera of course.
Can anyone provide any info on the photographer?

I don't know who the photographer is, but I do know that the photograph is rights-managed by CMG worldwide.  http://www.cmgworldwide.com/

You can contact them to ask what royalty you owe for use of the picture (posting a link, rather than the picture, would not have been a rights violation).  I'm sure at that time they will tell you who the photographer is.

Nope...this falls under the fair use doctrine which specifically states that all pix of Jayne Mansfield's righteous rack are exempt from copyright protection.

I can still remember to this day when I heard on the radio that she had been killed.

LOL...and if I was Sophia Loren, I'd be looking down my own dress.

...and if you tend to believe that source, it says:
"Newspaper photograph of Jayne Mansfield's use of wardrobe malfunction as a publicity stunt to upstage Sophia Loren at Romanoff's in Beverly Hills. Picture taken by Joe Shere."

The moment I saw the thumb of the image,I thought back to the photo-shopped "great white shark and helicopter photo".
