Want to be a hand model?
Is it just me, or do you come away from this just not liking the model for some reason?

Kinda snobby if you ask me... Maybe she uses a stand in to wipe up afterwards.
Yeah I saw that Video a few weeks ago and Thought the same thing.

Yea, once I saw the vid with sound I found myself not really liking her for some reason (can't pinpoint it though). Without sound, it's a far weirder video... I found myself just staring at her hands while she was all caressing them and stuff. Creeped me out.

I used to represent Ellen. Nice lady. But what the video shows is what it takes to be successful at her level - a near obsessive concern and care for her hands and feet. It might seem creepy, but it's a professional requirement.
Yeah, but her personality just comes across as... I can't think of a better word than self-obsessed creepyness.

-I would guess the on screen persona would come across as strange if you could see her face/expression, hear her voice and experience her general demeanor on camera.
-But I would say she makes an excellent "for print" hand model.
(did you see that goregoues manicure? wow.)

Yea, it wasn't the concern and care thing that I found creepy. I dunno what about it weirded me out. I can't even describe it.
Maybe it's because I first watched the vid with no sound. I dunno.

I'm still laughing, but mostly at the negative press she is getting. Having worked with hand and foot models all of my career I can say without exception that she is a normal and lovely human being compared with most I've run into. About the only thing she did that could be considered quirky is the constant petting of her hands, but knowing how guarded most models are about their livelihood, the petting almost seemed humorous. She might be a touch quirky, but if you stop to think about it, most of us have never met one another yet we still continue to bash each others brains out with a keyboard. When viewed in that light, she probably is more normal than we are.
I feel ya, Bob (and Roger), but honestly, it was just something about her overall impression that struck me as odd and made me uncomfortable. Call it an unfair reaction, perhaps.
