The black point needs to go a bit to the left & you need a bit of an "S" curve to add contrast to the facial tones. Keep in mind that photography has "fashions" that change over time. 40 yrs ago you might have been on the money. Now a days we... Jul/11/2014 13:01:51

As has been previously mentioned by others, you have two pics good enough to be contest winners! And yet, they are not in your port. I find that puzzling. Feb/16/2014 01:22:46

Rather than offer image-by-image critique, let me suggest how you can choose your own pictures. "A portfolio" should give a prospective person who wants to work with you an indication of how suitable you are for what he wants to do. Generally,... Mar/20/2013 11:40:00

Hi, Gloria - Hope you don't mind if I chime in. After looking at your work, my fo\irst impression is that you have way too many images of the same thing. In several instances, you have multiple pics of the same model, in the same clothes,... Jan/13/2013 23:20:04

I like everything about it, save one thing. I think the way she is pulling her hair down is odd. Otherwise, I think it is an outstanding image. Jan/08/2013 13:22:30

I think your work shows a high level of talent and technical mastery. My only criticism would be that you have too many images of the same thing. I'd edit it down some, and eliminate similar pics of the same model, in a slightly different pose.... Jan/08/2013 13:19:54

I also like them both very much, but I think the first one is my favorite. I like the 'S' curve her body creates, and I like the flow of her hair. Jan/08/2013 13:00:04

I've been in the business (mainly in newspaper photojournalism) for many years, but I do have some experience in fashion work in magazines. I'm new to this site, and I'd welcome any thoughts or comments regarding my work. Thanks! Drew Jan/08/2013 12:48:39

Honestly, the overall look of the images is dated. It's the portrait studio look of the 80s and early 90s, with the requisite colored light on the background etc. Maybe that's the specific look you're after, but if it's not, you might want to... Jul/09/2012 21:28:22

Tyler, I took a look at your profile and portfolio. Reviews or critiques should always be based on the intended purpose of the model, and that is what I will do here. On that basis, I'd suggest three things: 1. Get a copy of Men's Health... Jun/22/2012 08:11:22
