Do you consider yourself: Pro, Semi Pro, Hobbyist, Amateur, Something Else?
I suppose I would consider myself an amateur. I have a lot of experience in my short amount of time I have been modeling but I know I still have lots to learn and lots of different concepts I'd love to try.
How did you find Model Insider and what do you like best about it?
I found Model Insider on facebook. I love the daily contests and the member spotlights- I believe this is a nice way for an artist to gain recognition for their work.
What is your usual genre? Favorite genre?
My usual genre seems to be implied at the moment. lol... however my favorite is glamour, fashion or special concepts. I am very creative and try to keep fresh concepts on hand. :)
How do you find photographers to work with?
Through networking on facebook and/or Model Insider.
Do you do your own styling and makeup? Do you work with a preferred MUA?
I actually do my own styling and makeup. I have only had the joy of working with a MUA on one shoot. I would love to collaborate more. However- I also believe I do a pretty darn good job myself. I love hair and makeup and have been doing my own for a long time. :)
Where do you see yourself going in the next year, artistically and business wise?
Artistically I would like to expand my portfolio and continue to work with different photographers within the next year. Business wise- I have a full time job that is my focus at the moment.
Do you shoot both in studio and on location and do you have a preference?
I shoot both in studio and on location. I actually enjoy on location or outdoor shoots the most. It allows for more variety and creativity at times.
Do you travel?
I do travel when completely necessary but have not traveled further than Grand Rapids, MI at this point for a shoot. However- if I do travel I do ask for compensation for doing so.
Anything else you'd like to tell the Model Insiders about yourself?
I am a fun loving, out going individual. I am very easy to get along with and enjoy what I do. Along with being fun- I am also a professional and seek the same professionalism in return. :)
