Thanks to our guest judges, pullingcandy and DistortedSmile (DistortedSmile.com), the Gallery Directors for Horror/Macabre and Pinup/Glam photography on Deviant Art! Kay and Emski are both extremely talented photographers in their own rights, and have extensive experience through their work as GDs on DA (in addition to time spent moderating groups, contests, and events there for these genres) with selecting the best work out there. They were joined by the Model Insider staff (Chris, James, and Daniel) to name the winners.

Each judge voted for their first, second, and third place choice in each category. First place received 3 points, second received 2, and third received 1. Point totals from all five judges were added up to determine overall winners. In the case of the third place image for horror there was a straight tie-break vote by all five judges. Full rules for the contests can be found here. Images winning in the Judges' and Users' voting will receive both prizes.

For each contest, Judges' Selection won:

• First Place: $50 Visa gift card, MI permanent account, MI t-shirt, and a 1 week front page Member Spotlight feature in November
• Second Place: MI permanent account and MI shirt
• Third Place: one year paid account at MI
