On May 19 from 1P to 5P I will be hosting "Pose Like A Pro" at 500 West Cermak in Chicago, IL. Mark Niemi has invited me to teach this class to models in his studio and we've worked out a super special low rate of just $60 per person attending. This is a great workshop for new models, but photographers can attend as well to get tips and tricks relating to how to verbally instruct models on posing.

"New To You" Clothing & Accessories Swap

I'm hosting a clothing and accessories swap on Sunday, May 6. It's a great opportunity for models to add to their shoot wardrobe (as well as rid themselves of pieces they no longer need), and for photographers to add to their prop collections (or in-studio wardrobes). All of the details can be found on my style blog (direct link below), but here's some quick tidbits:
WHAT: A chance to update your wardrobe without spending a lot of cash.
WHERE: Phantom 42 Studios, 7 E Grand Ave, Fox Lake, IL 60020
WHAT TO SWAP: Gently used clothes, shoes & accessories for women, men & kids. Please no swimwear, lingerie/underwear, socks, or hosiery.
DROP OFF: Friday, May 4, 5P to 9P, Saturday, May 5, 9A to 5P, & 9A to12P Sunday, May 6
SWAPPING HOURS: Sunday, May 6 from 2P to 5P
Bring in one or more bags and it's just $10 to swap, payable when you drop off your clothes. If you don't have anything to bring, but want to shop the swap, it's $20 at the door.

A photographer I've worked with quite often, Hallopino, was featured in an online magazine. Not only did he submit one of our shots together, but they chose to use it as that particular issue's cover :) Sweet!
