I am a former photojournalist and editor who was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for Journalism in 1990. Some of my awards include:

I have more than 1,500 published articles to my credit, most of which I illustrated by taking my own photographs. Only at Knight-Ridder did I have the luxury of having my own photographer.

I also spent eight years in the motion picture industry, working for Columbia Pictures; Warner Brothers; Paramount; MGM; Universal; Prism Entertainment, a straight-to-video production and distribution company; and Mihahn Studios, an animation studio that produced feature-length films. From these experiences I learned a great deal about lighting and photography. I even had a chance to work as an assistant photographer for a promotional shoot of Jamie Lee Curtis for the movie, "Perfect."

After eight years away from journalism and a switchover of my old optical-film-reflex camera equipment to digital single-lens reflex (DSLR), I am ready to embark on another photographic journey of nude figure and fetish photography. I have worked with both amateur and professional models. I do both paid and trade shoots. Models should feel free to contact me directly either here or on Fetlife under the nickname "dragonslair7." The name of my company is Dragonslair Art Images, based in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I am working on getting a permanent studio, but I can get temporary studio time through other artists and I also travel to the model, if it is a reasonable distance away.
