Oct. 2011 Update: I seem to be plagued with broken gear. I am suspending all non-income generating (for me) shoots until I get my equipment back from Nikon repair. I will remove this update when my gear is back and I'm shooting for fun again.

I am the owner of a boutique Chicago studio specializing in weddings and events. This is not your stereotypical wedding photography. On the side, for fun, I like to experiment with posing, lighting and post-production.

Louisville, KY! I find myself in the 'ville many times per year as I have a 100 year old grandmother and a plethora of relatives, friends and muses who reside there.

Feel free to leave an image comment if something strikes your fancy. Many of the people represented in my port are friends and family and would love to see what you think.

My preference is for images of a darker nature. Words that have been used to describe my work include gritty, dark, stark, real, urban, dirty, unreal, art-porn, detailed, modern.

I prefer scheduling shoots at my home studio, that way, if the model flakes, at least I vacuumed, dusted, picked up the dog's toys and cleaned the windows. I may not have any photos at the end of the day, but my fiance is quite pleased with the cleaner state of affairs.
