- I'm always professional and considerate and have never canceled last-minute on a committed date.

- I only have a limited amount of time available for photography projects, so I choose my models/subjects very carefully. I will always give priority to models that I have worked with before in the most productive and positive ways.

- I have no interest in work that is gratuitous or pornographic in nature

- I enjoy doing fashion imagery in a unique and somewhat unorthodox style, figure work, exploring unique shot ideas, and artistic nudes in a variety of styles. I try to convey class, maturity and emotion in my images within the framework of the models own style, approach and comfort zone.

- I have a desire to build a portfolio that is NOT about me as an individual, but about art, about the beauty of the image, and that is a tribute to the process of collaboration.

- I am not in the business of building portfolios for models to begin their career.

- I work with individuals that have little to no experience in front of a camera.

- I pride myself on my ability to work with the novice model to get exceptional quality and emotion from my images.

- All the work you see here was created over the past year. Most experiences have been overwhelmingly positive as I had the opportunity to work with some exceptional models. I hope to keep building on that momentum!

If selected you would receive a test shoot with Scott Slusher at no charge, however, I do not pay models.

Tips on what Photos to Send

* Photos should be current, preferably taken within the last 6 months
* At least one photo should show your face at a neutral angle with a neutral expression
* At least one photo should show your figure/body-type - swimsuits work great
* Photos do not need to be professional, self-portraits in the mirror are just fine


Tips on what I'm looking for:

* Females age 17-26
* I love quirky or unusual beauty - hard to explain but I know it when I see it!
* No previous modeling experience is required
* 5'3" and taller
* Thin to average body type
* Must be willing to travel to Louisville, KY at your own expense

Please note - Due to the high number of applications I receive you will only receive a response if you are selected - responses could take anywhere from one to sixty days. I get A LOT of applications and only choose a very, very select few (less than 5%). If you absolutely MUST shoot with me I suggest booking a regular photo session - after that, you may impress me enough that I continue to use you in future shoots (this has happened more than once!)



Standard Session $75

Popular for model or stylist portfolios.

* 1.5 hour shoot
* Includes two looks
* Retouching of at least four images (photographers choice)
* Indoor session
* CD (with non-commercial reproduction rights) or Prints available for additional fee
* Hair, Makeup and/or wardrobe styling available for additional fee (though not required)


Half Day Shoot $325

Four hour session with on-set hair and makeup included

* 4 hour shoot
* Includes unlimited looks within time-frame (usually 4-6 depending on complexity)
* Professional Makeup and Hairstylist on-set 4 hours
* Indoor session
* Retouching of at least six images (photographers choice)
* CD (with non-commercial reproduction rights) or Prints available for additional fee


Full Modeling Portfolio $450

Not only will you get great images you will get TONS of modeling experience and learn a lot, no previous modeling experience required.

* Full Day Shoot – 8 hours
* Includes unlimited looks within time-frame (usually 6 to 8 depending on complexity)
* Includes Hair and Makeup on set (add Optional Wardrobe Styling for $500)
* Indoor Session
* Retouching of at least 8 images total (photographers choice)
* CD (with non-commercial reproduction rights)
